Terms

These are the terms on which Tax Doctor Consulting Limited ("the Academy", trading as TaxDoctor Academy) lets you use its courses. They sit beside the fees policy, the privacy notice and the copyright notice.

Your licence

This course is for you alone. Every video and file carries your name. Recording, sharing your login or passing on files ends your access and withdraws your certificate, after notice and a chance to respond.

The lessons, files and recordings belong to Tax Doctor Consulting Limited. You may use them for your own learning and work while your access lasts. You may not copy them, record them, resell them, upload them anywhere or give them to anyone else.

Your account

You hold one account, in your own name. Only one session can be open at a time, so signing in on a second device ends the first. You can register up to two devices. A new device needs a one-time code sent to your email. You are responsible for what is done with your login.

Names on everything

Videos show a moving mark with your name, a masked form of your phone number and a code. Every file you download carries your name, your email, the date and a reference. The Academy keeps a log of downloads against those references.

If we think the licence has been broken

We write to you first, say what we found and give you seven days to reply. A reply is read by a person before anything further is decided. Where the breach is confirmed, we may suspend your access and withdraw your certificate. You are told in writing at each step, and the owner of the Academy can overturn a decision.

Certificates and learning hours

A certificate is issued when you have met the stated requirements of a level. It can be checked by anyone on a public page, and it shows as withdrawn there if it has been withdrawn. The hours we record are verifiable learning hours: lessons, live sessions and marked tasks, with dates. We do not describe them as accredited hours.

Fees

Your fees are governed by the fees policy, which you see and accept before you pay.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the new version carries a new date. The version you accepted when you enrolled stays on record against your name.

Governing law

The laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria apply to these terms.
