Fees policy

This is version 2 of the fees policy of TaxDoctor Academy, which is run by Tax Doctor Consulting Limited. It took effect on 26 October 2026, and the summary you see at checkout was last updated on 4 November 2026. You see it before you pay, and you accept it when you enrol.

What you pay

The price of your cohort is shown in naira before you pay. Prices include VAT at 7.5%. Tax Doctor Consulting Limited issues the invoice, which shows the VAT. You can pay by card or by bank transfer; both are always offered.

Once your access starts

Fees are not refundable once your access starts. Your access starts when your cohort starts. Changing your mind after that is not a reason for a refund.

Cancelling before your access starts

Before your access starts, you may cancel and we pay your fee back to you, less a cancellation charge. The charge is ₦10,000 or 5% of the fee, whichever is higher. For example, on a fee of ₦149,999 the charge is ₦10,000, and on a fee of ₦300,000 the charge is ₦15,000.

There is no charge at all if you cancel because of a death or a hospitalisation. We may ask you for evidence.

Moving to the next cohort

If you cannot continue, you may move to the next cohort of the same course. You can do this once.

When we pay you back in full

If the Academy cancels your cohort, or fails to deliver the course at all, we pay your whole fee back to you. Finance contacts you and pays the money back.

When delivery falls short

If we deliver the course but part of it falls short of what you paid for, we put it right, or we pay back part of your fee. Finance decides the amount with you, and it is never more than you paid.

After a breach of the licence

There is no refund after a breach of the licence terms that has led to a suspension or to the withdrawal of a certificate, once that decision has taken effect and has not been overturned. A warning on its own is not a breach.

Money paid by mistake

If you pay too little, your access does not start until the balance arrives. If you pay twice for the same cohort, we return the second payment to you. Neither of these changes your access.
